MIWA - Ceremonial Grade Matcha 30g
The God’s Mountain
Mt. Miwa has been worshipped as a living deity for over 2,000 years. No shrine stands on its summit — the mountain itself is sacred. In this ancient landscape, Jack Farm stone-mills Okumidori in small batches: bold, vibrant, and deeply umami.

Product Details
Grade: Ceremonial grade, first flush (the first tea harvested from the plant each year)
Processing: Fresh, stone-ground
Tasting Notes: Once whisked, it opens with a fresh, clear aroma — crisp like straw or open meadows — then settles into a mellow, gentle sip, low in bitterness, with a soft, sweet finish.
Cultivation: Ceremonial grade Okoumidori matcha grown in Wazuka, Kyoto —a small tea & rice farm worked without pesticides or fertiliser. This first-harvest tencha is stone-ground slowly, letting the plant grow strong on its own terms.
Philosophy: No pesticides, no fertilisers, no shortcuts, nothing assisted unless it is natural. "Let the environment do its thing, and it will give back what it gives back."
Key Ingredients
Matcha (Green Tea Powder) (100%). Contains no known allergens.
How To Prepare
What you'll need
- Bamboo whisk (chasen) or milk frother
- Matcha bowl (chawen) or wide cup
- Fine sifter/strainer
- Water at 60°C
Steps
- Sift 2g matcha into the bowl.
- Add 10-20ml of 60°C water and whisk into a smooth paste.
- Top up 60°C water to 40-80ml total.
- Whisk briskly in a "W"/"M" motion for 30 seconds until frothy.
- Ceremonial matcha is enjoyed fresh and straight. Prefer a latte? Whisk the matcha with a little hot water as above, then pour over steamed milk (dairy or plant-based) and sweeten to taste — same quality, creamier finish.
